These Terms of Service govern your use of Bedloe's website, services, and related offerings. Bedloe is operated by Steeb99, LLC, a California limited liability company.
By accessing bedloe.co, purchasing services from Bedloe, signing an agreement with Bedloe, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any additional terms contained in your applicable order, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or purchase our services.
Bedloe is a public relations and media strategy company specializing in media coverage, editorial development, publication strategy, professional positioning, and related services.
Bedloe frequently works with individuals seeking media coverage in connection with O-1A, EB-1A, and other immigration matters. However, Bedloe is not a law firm and does not provide legal or immigration advice.
Bedloe does not prepare or file immigration petitions, determine eligibility for immigration benefits, interpret immigration law on behalf of clients, represent clients before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) or any other government agency, or make legal recommendations concerning an immigration case.
Clients should rely on qualified immigration counsel for all legal and immigration matters.
One-Time Services
Unless otherwise stated in writing, one-time services are billed according to the price and payment schedule specified in the applicable proposal, invoice, order, or service agreement.
Recurring Services
Certain services may be offered on a recurring or subscription basis. Recurring services will continue and payments will be charged according to the agreed billing schedule until canceled in accordance with the applicable service agreement or these Terms.
Payment Methods
Payments must be made in U.S. dollars using an approved payment method. Bedloe may accept credit cards, ACH transfers, wire transfers, Zelle, or other payment methods at its discretion.
Credit card payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. Bedloe does not directly store complete credit card information when payment information is processed by these providers.
Clients are responsible for all charges associated with services they authorize Bedloe to perform.
Month-to-Month Services
Clients may cancel month-to-month services by providing written notice to Bedloe before the next billing cycle.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement, cancellation received during an active billing period will take effect at the end of that billing period. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable.
Fixed-Term Services
If a client enters into a fixed-term agreement and cancels before completion of the agreed term, Bedloe may stop work immediately.
Payments already made are non-refundable unless the applicable written agreement specifically provides otherwise.
Any unpaid amounts that became due before cancellation remain payable.
Some Bedloe services may include a guaranteed publication placement. A publication is guaranteed only when that guarantee is expressly identified in the client's written proposal, order, invoice, or service agreement.
Where Bedloe expressly guarantees publication in a specific publication or within a defined group of publications, and Bedloe is unable to secure the applicable publication after the client has satisfied all requirements, Bedloe may provide a replacement publication of comparable value or issue a refund for the affected placement, depending on the terms of the applicable agreement.
If multiple placements were purchased, a failure involving one placement does not automatically entitle the client to a refund for placements that were successfully completed.
A publication guarantee applies only to the publication of media coverage. It is not a guarantee regarding immigration outcomes, USCIS treatment of the coverage, search rankings, website traffic, business results, or any other outcome.
Refunds are otherwise governed by the client's written agreement with Bedloe.
Bedloe's ability to perform services depends on timely cooperation from the client.
Clients agree to provide requested questionnaires, background information, documentation, interviews, approvals, photographs, links, and other materials reasonably necessary to perform the services.
Any estimated timeline begins only after Bedloe has received the information, approvals, and materials necessary to begin work.
Delays caused by incomplete questionnaires, missing information, delayed approvals, client-requested revisions, or other client actions may extend the expected timeline.
Unless a specific publication deadline is expressly guaranteed in writing, Bedloe does not guarantee an exact publication date.
Publication schedules are affected by editorial calendars, publisher availability, journalist schedules, revisions, news cycles, technical issues, and other factors outside Bedloe's control.
Bedloe will make reasonable efforts to complete placements within the expected timeframe communicated to the client, but estimated publication dates are not guarantees.
Publishers, editors, journalists, and media organizations are independent third parties.
They may maintain their own editorial standards and policies and may modify headlines, copy, formatting, photographs, links, author information, publication dates, categories, or other elements of a story.
Bedloe cannot guarantee that a publisher will accept every client request or maintain a particular editorial format indefinitely.
Where appropriate, Bedloe will work with clients and publishers to address reasonable concerns, but final editorial control may remain with the publication.
Bedloe may develop articles, interview materials, media narratives, background information, or other content based on information supplied by the client.
Clients are responsible for reviewing materials submitted to them for approval and for identifying inaccurate, confidential, misleading, proprietary, or unauthorized information before approval.
Once a client approves content for publication, Bedloe may rely on that approval.
The client represents that information supplied to Bedloe is truthful and accurate and that the client has the right to provide and authorize the use of such information.
Clients are responsible for obtaining any approvals required from employers, companies, business partners, universities, organizations, or other third parties before providing information for publication.
Bedloe is not responsible for disputes between a client and an employer or other third party concerning information the client authorized Bedloe to use.
Clients should not provide confidential, proprietary, classified, privileged, or otherwise restricted information unless they have the authority to disclose it.
Some publishers permit post-publication corrections or minor revisions. Others do not.
Requests to modify an article after publication are handled on a case-by-case basis and may involve additional fees.
Bedloe cannot guarantee that a publisher will agree to modify published content.
Bedloe does not own or control third-party media websites.
A publisher may subsequently modify, move, archive, restrict, deindex, redirect, or remove published content. A publisher may also cease operations or change its website.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, Bedloe does not guarantee that third-party content will remain online indefinitely.
Removal or modification by an independent publisher after successful publication does not automatically constitute a failure by Bedloe to perform its services.
Some publications allow backlinks and others do not.
Publishers may also modify their linking policies at any time, including changing followed links to no-follow links, removing links, or changing destination requirements.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, Bedloe does not guarantee backlinks, link attributes, SEO value, referral traffic, or continued availability of any link.
Bedloe provides media and public relations services. Bedloe does not provide legal or immigration services.
Media coverage may be used by a client and the client's attorney as part of an immigration petition or other legal matter, but Bedloe does not determine whether particular media coverage satisfies any legal or evidentiary standard.
USCIS and other government agencies independently evaluate immigration petitions based on applicable law, regulations, policy, evidence, and the facts of each case.
Bedloe does not guarantee that USCIS will accept a particular article as evidence, assign a particular weight to the article, issue an approval, avoid a Request for Evidence, or reach any particular immigration decision.
No purchase from Bedloe guarantees approval of an O-1A, EB-1A, or any other immigration petition or benefit.
Clients should discuss the use and presentation of media evidence with their immigration attorney.
Media coverage can influence a person's or company's digital presence, but search engines and artificial intelligence platforms operate independently from Bedloe.
Bedloe does not guarantee Google rankings, indexing, Knowledge Panels, search result positioning, website traffic, domain authority, ChatGPT responses, AI citations, inclusion in large language model outputs, or visibility on any particular search or AI platform unless a specific deliverable is expressly guaranteed in writing.
Search engines, AI platforms, and third-party databases may change their algorithms, indexes, policies, and outputs at any time.
Bedloe's website provides information about public relations, media strategy, immigration-focused media services, and related subjects.
Website content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as legal advice, immigration advice, or a legal opinion.
You may not use the website in a manner that violates applicable law, interferes with website operation, attempts unauthorized access to Bedloe's systems, or infringes the rights of Bedloe or any third party.
Unless otherwise stated, the Bedloe name, branding, website design, copy, graphics, methodologies, service descriptions, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Steeb99, LLC.
Clients retain ownership of materials they provide to Bedloe.
To perform the requested services, clients grant Bedloe a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, transmit, and provide client-supplied materials to writers, editors, publishers, contractors, and other service providers as reasonably necessary to perform the services.
Once final client-specific content has been delivered and all applicable fees have been paid, the client's rights to use that content will be governed by the applicable agreement and any rights retained by the publisher, writer, photographer, or other third party.
Bedloe will use reasonable care in handling non-public information provided by clients.
Both parties agree not to disclose confidential business information received from the other party except when necessary to perform the services, when authorized by the other party, or when disclosure is required by law.
This provision does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, lawfully obtained from another source, or intentionally provided for public dissemination.
Because public relations services are intended to result in public coverage, information approved by the client for publication is not considered confidential after approval for public use.
Bedloe may use independent writers, editors, publishers, technology providers, payment processors, contractors, cloud services, analytics providers, and other third parties in connection with its services.
Bedloe is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, websites, systems, or business practices of third parties except to the extent required by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Steeb99, LLC, Bedloe, and their respective owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Steeb99, LLC and Bedloe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of reputation, loss of data, immigration-related losses, or losses resulting from decisions made by publishers, search engines, AI platforms, USCIS, or other government agencies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Steeb99, LLC and Bedloe arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount actually paid by the client to Bedloe for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Working with Bedloe does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Bedloe's employees, contractors, writers, editors, sales representatives, and media partners are not acting as the client's immigration counsel by providing Bedloe services.
Any discussion of immigration criteria, media evidence, USCIS practices, or similar topics is general information concerning the context in which Bedloe's media services may be used. It is not individualized legal advice.
Bedloe will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including publisher delays, editorial changes, website outages, cyber incidents, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, acts of war or terrorism, widespread internet or telecommunications failures, or material disruptions involving third-party service providers.
Each party represents that it has the authority necessary to enter into the applicable agreement and perform its obligations.
If you purchase services on behalf of a company, organization, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to bind that party to the applicable agreement.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or Bedloe's services are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing, any legal action arising from these Terms or Bedloe's services shall be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction in California.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
A failure by Bedloe to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive Bedloe's right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
Clients may not assign their rights or obligations under an agreement with Bedloe without Bedloe's prior written consent.
Bedloe may assign an agreement in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Bedloe business.
These Terms, together with the applicable proposal, order, invoice, contract, or service agreement, constitute the agreement between the parties concerning the applicable services.
If a specific written service agreement signed by Bedloe conflicts with these general Terms, the specific written service agreement controls with respect to that conflict.
Bedloe may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
Material changes to an existing paid engagement will not override specific contractual terms already agreed to in writing unless both parties agree to the change.
By communicating with Bedloe electronically, submitting a website form, or purchasing services online, you consent to receive communications related to your inquiry, account, transactions, and services electronically.
Marketing communications are subject to applicable law and any opt-out rights provided with those communications.
